Was passiert, wenn ein abstrakter Maler mit einer Rolleiflex das Wesen in Dingen erforscht, die von anderen Augen unbeachtet am Wegesrand liegen hat Guy Batey bereits in seiner Serie “The Melancholy of Objects” gezeigt, die er in seinem Londoner Heimatbezirk Southwark fotografierte.
Seit ein paar Wochen ist Guy Bateys (zumindest temporäre) Heimat Berlin. Die vier hier gezeigten Fotografien sind seine ersten Eindrücke, work in progress, wie sich die Arbeit entwickelt, kann in seinem Flickr-Stream verfolgt werden.
